He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin and Gladys Rhinehart Sr. (Minnich). He is survived by: his sons, Charles Rhinehart Jr. (Karen) of Camp Hill, Brian Rhinehart (Cheri) of Carlisle and Dustin Rhinehart (Nicole) of Gardners; his grandchildren, Paige, Hunter, Robby, Emma, Faith and Wyatt; and his siblings, Franklin Rhinehart Jr., Constance Sheriff and Alice Frey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
