It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ward Shead of Gap, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Greenway Shead; his parents, George Shead and Margaret Beese Shead; and his brother Richard Shead. He is survived by: his children, James Solomon Shead (Belinda), Stephanie Leigh Shead (Ronald Lee King) and Vanessa Beatrice Shead; his grandchildren, Jessica King, Austen Procyson, Savanah King, Veronica King, Dalten Procyson, Solomon Shead, Layla Edwards and Maximus Shead; his great grandchildren, Dusten Procyson, Bryella Procyson, Kayden Procyson and Daimen Procyson; and his brothers, Daniel Shead of Philadelphia, George Shead of Arizona and Gary Shead of Philadelphia.
