He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Long and Mary Carney Long; his wife Virginia Hartman; his son Roger E. Long; and his siblings, Mildred, June, Charlie, Johnny, Harry, Sam and Judy.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Deborah J. Long of Galeton; his grandsons, Joshua E. Long (Carrie) of Knoxville, Chad E. Long (Heather) of Milford, DE and Brett A. Long of Johnson City, TN; his great grandchild Jaley Long; and his brother Art Long of Rochester, NY.
