He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heaton Yerkes, Jr. and Elizabeth Fetters Slack; his wife Nancy; his son Mark; his brother John; and his great grandchild Evangeline.
He is survived by: his children, William H. IV (Kim), Bonnie (Rich) and Leanne (Joseph); his siblings, Barbara (Jim) of Florida and Skip (Judy) of Solebury; and his pet Ellie. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
