Shaffer (Wilt); her siblings, James Shaffer, Dewey Shaffer (Jock), Charles Shaffer, Wilbur Shaffer (Poss), Orval Shaffer (Jake), George Shaffer (Buck) and Ruth Crosby; her sons, Paul Woodford, Wayne Engle and Brad Sturtz; and her great grandchild Alivia VanGilder.
She is survived by: her children, Connie VanGilder (David) and Scott Sturtz; her grandchildren, Justin VanGilder (Jessica), Jason VanGilder (Erin), Natasha Bittner (Josh), Tess Engle, Kaylan Sturtz, Kelsi Sturtz, Jeffrey Brandon (Tom) and Nicole Davis; her great grandchildren, McCauley, Hartley, Ally, Alana, Alexis, Kylee, Mattie, Emily, Embree, Rylan and Reigni; her daughter-in-law Lori Engle; and her sisters, Clara Lottig (Leonard) and Carlen Miller (Alan). She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home (203 North St, Meyersdale, PA 15552). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
