She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitfield DeWitt and Mary Anita DeWitt (Gillespie); her husband Thomas Louis Brobst; and her siblings, Charles DeWitt, Harold DeWitt and Willarlie Houser.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Thomas Brobst (Beth Anne) of New Bern, NC, Jesse Frank Brobst (Rebekah), Oakland, MD, John Riedemann Brobst (Michelle), Finzel, MD and Amy Anita Kemp of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Everett B. Weimer, III, Nikolas Kemp, Melanie Kemp, Hannah Brobst, Natasha DeSantis, Uriah, Danielle, Benjamin, Curtis, Lily Brobst, Rachel, Emily and Joshua Brobst; and her great grandchildren, Braydon and Talon Weimer.
