He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Curley and Bridget E. Curley (McInerney); his brothers, James M. Curley and William "Bill" Curley; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Curley and James Keenan.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Curley of Vestal, NY, Thomas Curley of Friendsville, PA, Robert (Mary Curley) and Mary Louise Keenan of Friendsville, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Larry Curley (Renee), Steve Curley (Jennifer), Lisa Himko (Michael), David Curley (Terri), Bill Curley (Laura), Ben Curley (Amy), Abe Curley (Tina), Matt Curley (Sara), Joe Curley (Meghann), Josh Curley (Mary Daly), Sarah Jane Bullock (Mike), Justin Curley (Cassie), Katherine "Kay" Keenan and Tom Keenan (Kylie).
