He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd D. Trent and Jemima Trent Yoder (Hay); his sons, Larry and Barry; his granddaughter Kimberly; his great grandchild Lynn Lee; and his sisters, Ruth Ling and Joan Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Trent (Zarefoss); his children, Carol Brant (Dan), Connie Martin (Robert), Sally Trent (Dale Miller), William Trent Jr. (Linda), Michael Trent (Christine) and Eric Trent (Missy); and his siblings, Darlene Zerfoss of Somerset and Donald Trent of Berlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
