With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Kay Paxton of Friedens, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Miller and Evelyn Miller (Witt); her son Timothy Paxton; her grandson Joseph Paxton; and her sisters, Nancy Hyde and Shirley Ann Mosholder.
She is survived by: her close friend Ralph "Bill" Montgomery; her children, Terry Paxton, Sr. (Brenda) and Traci Horning (Bret); her stepsons, William and Jim Montgomery; her grandchildren, Terry Paxton, Jr. (Autumn), Logan Byers (Luke), Wyatt Horning (Chelsea) and Warren Horning; her great grandchildren, Keegan, Harlee, Jacob, Lilly, Callum, Nico, Holly and Ashley; and her siblings, Pat Shaffer, Carol Pollock, Kathy Nuccetelli (Jim) and John Miller (Karen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
