We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2020, at the age of 90, Paul Welsh Sr. of Friedens, Pennsylvania, born in Somerset, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Calvin and Nellie Elizabeth Welsh Sr. (Dunlap); and his siblings, Charles J. Ralph Jr., James Welsh, Jay, Mary Jane Mayak and Betty L. Buljat.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Spangler; his children, Sandra Hay (Jay Jr.) of Mt. Joy, Paul D. Welsh Jr. (Patricia) of Somerset and Scott Welsh (Kimberly) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Hayes (Morris), Joshua Hay (Ashleigh), Kristie Paxton (Matthew), Paul Welsh III, Bobbi Jo, Neil, Ashley Welsh, Cheyanne, Shane Baylor and Michelle Pniewski; and his siblings, Joan Cyga of Johnstown and Tedd A. Welsh of Somerset. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson.
