He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Henry and Ethel Marie Anderson (Cameron); his sister Dorothy Lewis; and his half-sister Fleka Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Elaine Walker; his children, Jay Bryan Anderson of Friedens, Jennifer Anderson of Pittsburgh and Janeen Schoenly (David) of Cranberry; his grandchildren, Meaghan Peter (Charles), Zachery and Alexander Schoenly; his great grandchild Maverick Peter; his stepsister Joyce Preece; and his niece Amy Lewis of Fairchance.
