With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Floyd Helmick of Friedens, Pennsylvania, born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 14, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl R. Helmick and Vera Mae Helmick (Hutzell); and his sister Ruth Hare. He is survived by: his wife Karen Elaine Hill; his daughters, Emily Bent (Dwayne Stiffey) of Somerset, Elizabeth Helmick (Grant Baldwin) of Harrisburg, Kristi Pessolano (John) of Pittsburgh and Megan Stevanus (Isaac) of Friedens; his grandson Jayden "The Boy" Stiffey; his brother Scott Helmick (Karen Miller) of Somerset; and his nephew Aaron Hill of York.
