He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gerald H. Carpenter, Josephine Carpenter (Gowarty), Bessie Kubala (Gerney) and John Kubala; and his sister-in-law Cathy Qualters (Haer).
He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Carpenter and Betty Carpenter (Gerney); his brother Barry Carpenter of Friedens; his children, Casey Carpenter (Tyler Stewart) of Wellsboro and Zachary Carpenter (Kailyn Shoffler) of Baltimore, MD; his siblings-in-law, Arlene DeArmitt of Somerset, Ray, Linda Haer of Meyersdale and Cody Haer of Meyersdale; and his wife Michele.
