He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert O. Mainhart and Maetta Belle Mainhart (Alter); his wife Ruth Mainhart (Henry); his grandsons, Christopher J. Mainhart, Shawn and Shane Horn; his stepgrandson Curby Horn; and his siblings, Gerald Mainhart, Albert Mainhart, Jr. and Margaret B. Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Horn (Lanny) of Suffolk, VA, Robert Mainhart (Paula) of Florence, KY, Daniel Mainhart (Kay) and Gary Mainhart (Pam); his grandchildren, Vicki Mainhart, Jessie Glover (Austin), Matthew Mainhart, Alyssa Forte (Ian), Erin Vick (Justin), Zachary Mainhart (Melanie) and Lindsay Mauer (Todd); his sister Ruth Henry (Mainhart); and his friend Calvin Cline. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to Freeport Senior Citizens or the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department, two organizations that were important to Paul.
