He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Floyd Painter and Marie Wilson McGee Painter; his wife Mary Ann Painter (Lynch); and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Huffman Lynch and Hilda Mary Porter Lynch.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Ralph Painter (Karen Laux) of Worthington, Ericca Leigh Painter Haynes (Thomas) of Franklin, Shannon Marie Moretti Wiser (Paul) of Butler and Joshua James Painter (Gretchen Ulisky) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Colleen Haynes Cable (Michael) of Franklin, Meghan Haynes of Akron, Ohio, Ian Haynes of Franklin, Ella Moretti of Butler, Shealyn and Carter Wiser of Kittanning; his great grandchildren, Abby, Aaliyah and Ally Cable of Franklin; his siblings, Marilee Johnson (David) of North Huntington and John Charles Painter (Kathy Tanel) of Lexington, Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, William Lynch (Nancy Faulkman) of Derry, Betty Lynch (Ralph) of St. Johns, Florida and Sandy Lynch (Lewis) of Black Lick, Ohio.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and all his many friends.
