We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 79, John W. Mailki of Freeport, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John W. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mae (Overbeck) and William V. Mailki; and his sister Betty Jane Bonner. He is survived by: his siblings, Charyl Peffer, Amy Delp, Linda Snell (Dean), Amber Peck, Rachel Dehus (Rich), David Mailki (Lori), Ronald Mailki and Eric Mailki. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. (524 High St, Freeport, PA 16229). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
