She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Swartz (Coffman) and Joseph Swartz; her husband James P. Flick; her son Thomas; her grandson Riley Flick; her great grandchild Grace Shipkowski; and her siblings, Shirley (Gross), James Swartz and Jack Swartz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Swartz and Beverly Gumpbert; her children, Barbara Kuhn (Richard), Sharon Hoak (David), Cindy Carter, Jamie Martin (Randy) and Ryan Flick (Jennifer); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Flick; her grandchildren, Lori Schrecengost, Caleb Kuhn (Nicole), Cassandra Hoak, Denver Hoak (Carrie), Carly Carter, Calvin Carter (Carlee), Lane Martin (Sophi), Tyler Kerr (Ashley), Ryan Flick (Amanda), Thomas Flick (Caroline) and Katelin Flick; her great grandchildren, Leo, Silas, Stanley, Charlie Jo, Colin and Casen; and her namesake Lula.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department, two organizations that were important to her.
