He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jane McQueen Otterman; his parents, Raymond Kuhns Otterman and Ida Agness Hesselgesser Otterman; his siblings, Eleanor Estelle Keener and Charles Russel Otterman; and his great grandchild Brandon Pratley.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Ann Pratley (David), Donna Lee Saurers (Dale), Lewis Edwin Otterman, Sr. (Sharen) and Jeff Homer Otterman (Russell Blain); and his grandchildren, Eric Pratley (Heidi), Teri Beth Jamrozik, Deborah Petrolia (Jason), Daniel Saurers (Erin), Lewis Otterman, Jr. (Kelli), Brent, Makenna, Megan Pratley, Peyton, Payne, Piper Petrolia, Ainsley Saurers, Cooper Saurers, Riley Otterman and Colton Otterman.
Entombment with military honors will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lower Burrell, PA In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Homer's memory to; Trinity Lutheran Church, 323 5th Street, Freeport, PA and to the South Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department, 100 Firehall Rd., Freeport, PA 16229 Concordia Lutheran Ministries Foundation, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot PA 16023-2206.
