Elizabeth Rodgers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Rodgers (Freeport, Pennsylvania), born in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Yetter and Elizabeth Yetter (Hamilton); and her husband Don Rodgers. She is survived by: her sister Mary Jane "Janey" Yetter Zadai; her daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Michael Slater), Thomas Rodgers and Jennifer; her son-in-law Mark Leshniowsky; her granddaughters, Bethany Slater, Michelle Gilliland (Matthew), Morgan and Kate Leshniowsky; and her great grandchild Kenna Esther Gilliland.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. (524 High St, Freeport, PA 16229). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (409 Sarver Rd, Sarver, PA 16055).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
