He is survived by: his daughter Charlene Mitchell; his grandson Collin Mitchell-Carey; his nieces and nephews, Joseph A. Singleton (Gloria), Carita Y. Walker (Ronnie), Bernadette, Flecia Gardner and Kimberly Walker, MD; his sister-in-law Polly Walker; his godson Andre Reid; his daughter Janice Burgess (Sam); and his cousins, Rand Thomas Potillo and Barbara Golden. He is also survived by friends, nephews, and nieces.
