He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor John and Mary Catherine Karpowich (Heckler); and his sister Christine Zaludek. He is survived by: his siblings, James and Kathryn Karpowich of Freeland; his nephew Jon Gorski; his nieces, Toni Kaplan (Gorski) and Lena Quinn (Rinkus); and his cousin Amber.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the American Legion Post 473 (523 Centre St, Freeland, PA 18224).
