We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 89, Joseph Banyas of Freeland, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Banyas and Anna Banyas (Soltis); and his brothers, John, Andrew, Michael and Stephen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen and Anna; his wife Geraldine Contress; his son Joseph (Joan); his granddaughter Lauryn; and his brother-in-law Nelson Contress.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mary's B.C. Church, 643 Fern St. Freeland Pa. 18224 in his memory.
