He was predeceased by: his siblings, Willard Patterson, Raymond Patterson, Paul Patterson, Robert Patterson, Elmer Patterson, Elsie Hart, Dorothy Bromley, Genevieve Brooks, Gladys Gregory and Alice Mecklem.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Black; his children, Gail Ennis (Larry), Hadley and Gary Patterson (Susan); his sister Phyllis Pears of Liberty, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler Ennis (Julie), Sheree Workman (Mark), Cristy Anderson (Scott), Andy Patterson, Sarah Orndorff and Danny Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Chase Orndorf, Avery Orndorf, Maverick Ennis and Lucas Ennis.
The family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to the McQuiston Senior Center, Sandy Lake or to Greystone Country Estates, Fredonia.
