He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pearl and Ben Szeszko; his father-in-law Harry Griffiths; and his grandson Landon Rose. He is survived by: his parent Shirley Jean Umstead (Perrine) of Sandy Lake; his wife Tina Griffiths Umstead; his father David Umstead; his son Hunter Umstead of Fredonia; his stepdaughter Jessica Ziegler (Dalton Pence) of Erie; his daughter Nicole Mosier (Christian) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Adara Miller, Brooklyn Jones, Haley Matvey, Cayden, Damian Mosier, Myia and Jax Umstead; his sister Robin Sasse (Frederick) of Sandy Lake; and his nieces, Jazmyne Shaffer (Derek) of Spring Mills and Jaeda Sasse of Slippery Rock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
