He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Root; and his brothers, Corey Root and Steven Root. He is survived by: his father Edward P. Root; his sister Cindy Rivers (Wendell); his nephew Kyle Rivers (Krissa Barr); his close friends, Mike and Tawnya Hitz; and his pet Feba.
