He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Dittman and Eva Dittman (Karow). He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth T. Dittman (Roxanne) and Randy W. Dittman (Lori); his grandchildren, Mark, Alyssa, Ashley, Katelyn and Jenna; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Alyssa, Aiden, Austin and Alaina.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Paul's Shares of Faith.
