He was predeceased by: his parent Elwood Schonely; and his brother Ted Schonely. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Louise Schonely (March); his parent Alice Schonely (Johnson); his children, James Schonely and Kathy Schonely; and his grandchildren, Summer Schonely and Jay Schonely.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sam's name to either Living Faith Lutheran church, 1206 Montgomery Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512 or Vista Adult Services, C/O Development Office, 1021 Springboard Dr., Hershey, PA 17033 which supports adults with autism.
