He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ernest G. Lechner and Eva Lechner (Genszler). He is survived by: his wife Frances L. Lechner (Peterman); his children, Karen and Mahlon Brosius; his grandchildren, Corey and Amanda; his children, Noe Lutz, Jordan, Kate Gruskay, Lindsay Gruskay, Alex Bozzo, Hope Kauffman, Hunter Kauffman, Harrison, Rebecca Kauffman, Tyler and Tanner Seislove; his sister Jane Lechner Tyson; his nieces, Susan Andrews and Lucy; his nephew Rob Wert; and also Greta.
