She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Groff and Emma Keplinger; and her husband William H. Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, William Henry Smith, Jr. (Patricia) of Pottstown, Priscilla Anne Souder (Tim) of Morehead City, NC, Susan Alice Smith of Zionsville, PA, Sarah Jane Hendricks (David) of Royersford, PA and Thomas Richard Smith (Cheri) of Palmerton, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
