He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kyung Chi; his children, Suzie (Eugene) and David (Cathy); his grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, Timothy, Reyna and Alina; his siblings, Sun Hwan, Suk Hwan, Jung Hwan, Sang Hwan, Hae Ran, Hae Young and Hae Won; and his parents, Won Sik and Suk Ja (Kim).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1600 Stone Mansion Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143).
