She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Judson and Martha Jane Ellis Judson; her husband John "Jack" Bennett Mays; her siblings, Ted Judson (Diane) and Susie McConnell; her brother-in-law Paul Burak; and her nephew John Judson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Amy Judson Burak of Franklin and Betsy Judson of Franklin; her stepson Dr. Robert W. Mays (Jill Sangree) of Shaker Heights, Ohio; her stepgranddaughters, Eliza and Nora; and her brother-in-law John McConnell of Franklin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
