With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Brooks of Franklin, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Harper and Zelia Harper (Hunter); her husband Vernon E. "Sparky" Brooks; her daughter Linda Layton; her stepchildren, Patti Brown and Gregory Brooks; her stepdaughter-in-law Dawn Brooks; her sister Gloria Groger; her great great grandchild Jayden Olsen; and her close friends, Richard and Freda Brown.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scott Peterson (Tricia), Jeremy Peterson (Heather), Chris Peterson (Erika), Benjamin Peterson (Marci), David (Kaitlyn), Kaitlyn Warrington (Clayton), Carolina Granados, Sara Granados, Tara Brown (Phil), Bryan Marsh (Carrissa), Krista Harriger, Kelly Hunter (Roger), Travis McGuire (Mayra), William Brown, Matthew Brown (Dawn), Jennifer Warrington and Colin Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Brooke, Julia, Jenna, Laken, Riley, Audrina, Asher, Addie, Dominic, Luca, Penelope, Parker, Hudson, Madalynn, Austin, Eva, Ariel, Dawn, Emma, Sawyer, Nolan, Logan, Vala, Allie, Amree, Andin, Dylan, Matthew, Jillian, Deliah and Abigail.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Nancy's honor be sent to the Precious Paws in Franklin or Venango County Humane Society.
