He was predeceased by: his father F. Keith Smith; and his brother-in-law Ron "Grease" Baker. He is survived by: his mother Barbara D. Barnes Smith; his son Ryder Smith; his siblings, Keith Smith (Lynn), Shelley Davis, Kristy Baker and Kelly Emerson; and his nieces and nephews, Melanie, Bryan, Rachel, Trent, Lindsey, Nick, Megan and Nate. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
