He is survived by: his wife Joan Cassano; his children, Michael Cassano (Kara) of Cooperstown and Lauren Cassano (James Miller) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Cole, Darius, Damian Cassano of Franklin, Dominic, Jaxson and Gabriella Miller of Franklin; his stepgrandchildren, Alexis Clark of Pittsburgh and Courtney Clark of Franklin; and his siblings, Albert A. Cassano (Rosemary) of New Castle, Paul A. Cassano (Karen) of Austintown, Ohio and Margaret Euless (Michael) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
