It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Bauer of Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bauer and Dorothy Quayle Bauer; his wife Audrey Volkman Bauer; and his brother John Bauer. He is survived by: his sons, Charles J. Bauer (Lexie) of Davidson, NC and Thomas J. "Duke" Bauer of Franklin Township; his granddaughters, Kirstie Conkey of Pittsburgh and Kami Bishop of Pittsburgh; his niece Laura "Rebel" Carter (Jed); and his siblings-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Adams of Edinboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (306 Erie St, Edinboro, PA 16412).
