He is survived by: his children, Tracy Baptiste (Josh Mazon) of Sharon, Troy Briggs (Anita Mercer), Theresa Briggs (Leroy Trauterman Jr.) of Franklin, Gale Briggs Jr. (Brenna) of Franklin, Corey Briggs (Carmella Wilt) of Franklin and Justin Briggs (Nikole) of Franklin. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
