She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Reed and Dorothy Reed; and her siblings, Marian Joan Smith, Marjorie Meadows, William Reed, Harold "Burt" Reed and Paul "Pete" Reed.
She is survived by: her husband William Allen; her sons, Steven Allen (Michelle) of Franklin and David Allen of Greensboro; her brother Donald Reed (Dona Reed); and her sister-in-law Bonnie Reed. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
