He was predeceased by: his parent Clinton Richey; his stepfather Mickey Findlay; his brother Tim Richey; and his nephew Paul Richey. He is survived by: his parent Irene Wheeling Richey; his spouse Joyce Ann Shull; his children, Charles "Andy" Richey (Amy) of Franklin and Penny Richey Boehm (Mark) of The Woodlands; his grandchildren, Charles "Zac" Richey (Angie) of Franklin, Mackenzie Richey of Franklin and Allison Boehm of The Woodlands; and his brothers, Clinton "Sam" Richey (Nancy) of Franklin and Kim Richey (Donna) of Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
