He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Lee and Myrna Baker Slocum; his stepmother Edith Slocum; his siblings, William Slocum (Dorothy), Bessie Slocum, Helen Hines (Jake), Richard Slocum, Twila Lowry (Richard) and Kathryn Miller (Perry); and his grandsons, Eric Jamison and Michael Slocum.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Steve Slocum (Carrie) of Cooperstown, Debra Mihleder (Jeffery) of Franklin and Ronald Slocum (Martha) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Christy Lambert, Jonathan Slocum, Ashleigh Phillips, Adam Armburger, Stephanie Gordon, Chad Mihleder, Chelsea Wolbert, Breanne Blakeslee, Joshua Slocum and Lacey Lowman; his sister-in-law Mary Slocum; and his close friends, Don, Pat Young of Reno and Doris Smith of Florida. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
