He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Derstine and Martha Derstine (Landis); his granddaughter Leanna R. Derstine; his brother Kenneth (Catherine); and his sister-in-law Sue Derstine.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie A. Derstine (Wyse); his sons, Michael L. (Dawn), Phillip G. (Cheryl), Arnold B. (Marlene), Galen C. (Teresa) and Wendell W. (Jana); his brothers, Vernon L. (Miriam), James L. (Sylvia), Carl L. and Glenn L. (Sylvia); and his stepmother Mary Derstine (Ehst). He is also survived by grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
