It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Zaharis (Frackville, Pennsylvania), born in Minersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter P. Zaharis and Mary Zvendrikou Zaharis; his grandsons, Evan and Matthew; and his siblings, Irene Laskarithis, Thomas, Harry, Peter and George Zaharis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Zaharis (Dantas); his children, William (Lori) of Huntsville, Kathleen Vaz (Edward) of Middleport, Kristine Renninger (Howie) of Pottsville and Karen Zaharis (David); his grandchildren, Amanda, Cassie, Eddy, Tim, Mickey, Andy, Kimmy, Angela and Becca; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Lily and Madeline.
