He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nadine Smith and Oliver; his daughter Christina M. "Tina" Sass; his wife Mary Lou Bachike of Frackville; his stepfather Ronald R. Smith of Frackville; and his grandson Joseph J. "JJ" Sass (Cristina) of Miami, Florida. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
