He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Smith and Elizabeth R. Leinenbach Smith; and his brother Robert W. Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Teresa "Terri" Tenaglia Smith; his son Tommy Smith; and his siblings, Timothy J. Smith (William Smith) and Barbara Jenkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
