He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kopina and Meri Kopina (Hafinak); his sisters, Catherine Kalbach, Margaret Regan and Irene Kunigonis; and his stepsiblings, Mamie Jurick, Helen Carey, Anna McDonald, Olga Stednitz and Michael Kopina.
He is survived by: his friend John. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
