We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2019, at the age of 96, James J. Nahass (Frackville, Pennsylvania), born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Nahas and Elizabeth Jabron Nahas; his former wife Jean Martin Nahas; his wife Alma Anthony Nahas; his brother Joseph Nahas; his daughter Ida Jane Nahas Wanamaker; and his sisters, Nora Glembocki, Mary Nahas and Adele Williams.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Gerry (Joann Anthony) and George Anthony; his sisters, Josephine Swirsky and Martha Dodds; his sister-in-law Olga Nahas; his grandchildren, Thomas Spolski, Jennifer Martin, George, Joe, Gerard, Michael and Amanda Anthony; his nephew Joseph Nahas; and his niece Deborah Nahas-Frisch. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made, in James's name to, the Goodwill Hose Company at 225 S. Balliet Street Frackville, PA 17931.
