With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen W. Evans (Frackville, Pennsylvania), born in Mahanoy Plane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2018 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen W. Evans to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent John English; her husband Thomas L. Evans; her daughter Susie Berezwick; and her sister Mary McCann. She is survived by: her parent Helen Flynn English; her daughters, Colleen (Gary Petrewicz), Joni (Bobby Kitscock), Hummelstown, Janice (Dave Kutchinsky) and Frackville; her son-in-law Matt Berezwick of Mahanoy Plane; and her siblings-in-law, Bob McCann of Manville, NJ, Richard Evans and Joan Avenoso of Mahanoy City. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in Helen's name, to the Susan B. Berezwick Education Award in c/o Schuylkill Area Community Foundation at 216 S. Centre Street Pottsville, PA 17901.
