He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Chaklos and Mary Chaklos (Hocik); his wife Margaret Chaklos (Post); his brothers, John and Edward Chaklos; his grandson Cody Chaklos; and his son-in-law Michael Yaneck.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Chaklos (Jeanette), Michael Chaklos, Richard Chaklos, David Chaklos (Maryann) and Diane Yaneck; and his siblings, Joseph Chaklos and Ann Marie Derescavage. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home (501 W Washington St, Frackville, PA 17931). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (49 N Line St, Frackville, PA 17931).
