She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Polega and Helen Labuda Polega; and her husband Howard Seitzinger. She is survived by: her children, Howie (Sandy Seitzinger) and Christina (Rich Korn); her cousin Carol Hastings; her sister-in-law Lenore Seitzinger; her grandchildren, Richard, Ryan Korn, Trevor Seitzinger, Teresa Snyder and Serenity; and her caregiver Annabelle Price.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions, in Darlene's name, be made to the Alzheimers Association.
