He is survived by: his wife Helen Kerrigan Gownley; his daughters, Erin (Frank Blozusky) of Frackville and Amy (Joel Digris) of Frackville; his sisters, Mary Fran Zack of Mahanoy Plane and Cathy Hannon of Mahanoy Plane; and his grandchildren, Katie, Frank Blozusky, Abbey, Kerrigan, Ella and Nora Digris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
