He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne K. Sheehan and Joseph J. Sheehan; his wife Mary of Paul's Cathedral; his sons, David Nichols Sheehan and Mark Anderson Sheehan; his daughters-in-law, Emily L. Gest and Lorna M. Weir; his grandchildren, Emmett G. Sheehan and Grace M. A. Sheehan; and his sister-in-law Joan C. Sheehan of Vienna. He was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania.
